Gain a Competitive Edge in Marketing, Communications, and PR
With three powerhouse graduate degree programs, the NYU SPS Integrated Marketing and Communications Department is where academic excellence meets real-world experience amidst the energy of NYC.

Beyond the Classroom
Our Network in Action
Connect, Learn, Grow & Excel
Where the Industry Gathers
Future Forward Speaking Series
The Future Forward Speakers Series gives our students unmatched access to leading marketing and public relations innovators, influencers and icons. Monthly opportunities for students to connect and network with global leaders who are leading marketing and communications into the future is a differentiator in an NYU SPS education. When students see the “Future Forward” title, they know that essential industry leaders are “in the house” and that the event is must-attend.

Industry Celebrations
The department routinely celebrates major industry milestones with industry leaders. For the 100th anniversary of the first-ever public relations class taught at NYU by Edwards Bernays, a celebratory event and panel was co-hosted with the Museum of Public Relations. Students and faculty attended the book release party for the annotated version of the first public relations textbook, Crystallizing Public Opinion.

Skill Build Workshops
Skill Build Workshops welcome students to hone their skills in workshops outside of the classroom with professionals who have a specific expertise in topic areas ranging from pitching to speed mentoring and more.

Industry Events
NYC is home to essential industry industry organizations such as the American Marketing Association (AMA), the National Retail Federation (NRF), the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF), the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), and NY Women in Communications (NY WICI). These groups routinely welcome our students to engage at meetings, meetups, training sessions, and more.
