<p><span class="p-body">Integrated Marketing and Communications (IM&amp;C) students had an incredible experience at the &quot;Beauty Brand Builders&quot; event, part of our <i>Women in Leadership in the Beauty Industry</i> series. This special event brought together powerhouse leaders from the world of beauty and fragrance to share their journeys, industry insights, and empowering messages with the next generation of professionals.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">The evening’s panel featured three accomplished women who have shaped the beauty industry through creativity, innovation, and leadership: Robin Mason, president of Fine Fragrance, North America at DSM-Firmenich; Jenny B. Fine, editor-in-chief of WWD Beauty Biz; and Linda G. Levy, president of The Fragrance Foundation. The conversation was skillfully moderated by Pamela Vaile, president of Pamela Vaile Consulting LLC and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the IM&amp;C program.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">The event began with each panelist reflecting on how they broke into the beauty industry—often in unexpected ways—and how they navigated the challenges and opportunities that followed. From navigating competitive corporate environments to overcoming personal and professional hurdles, the panelists were candid about their paths to leadership. Their stories resonated deeply with students, many of whom are preparing to enter similarly dynamic and demanding fields.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">Hosting this event during Women’s History Month added a special layer of significance. It became not just a celebration of success, but a recognition of the resilience, talent, and leadership of women in an industry that thrives on both creativity and strategic acumen. For students, it was an opportunity to learn directly from the women leading some of the most influential beauty organizations in the world today.</span></p>
