Training Next Generation Leaders for Energy System Transformation
CGA offers master’s degrees, continuing education certificates and courses, one-day intensives, summer intensives, executive training, and personal enrichment programs focused on today’s global issues.
CGA offers three forward-looking graduate degrees. The MS in Global Affairs prepares students for careers across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, addressing issues such as sustainability, international policy, and global justice. The STEM-designated MS in Global Security, Conflict, and Cyber Crime focuses on cyber conflict, intelligence, security policy, and risk strategy. The new STEM-designated MS in Sustainability and Global Energy Practice prepares practitioners to develop solutions for sustainable energy systems and global resource challenges.

CGA offers the in-person executive-level program Leading Through Cyber Crisis: Executive Strategies for Risk Mitigation and Organizational Resilience. This program equips leaders with the strategic insight needed to navigate cyber-related challenges, understand digital risk, and strengthen organizational resilience. Participants gain practical frameworks for guiding teams and making informed decisions in an increasingly interconnected world.
CGA offers personal enrichment courses with the Academy of Lifelong Learning (ALL), providing opportunities for curious learners to explore global topics in an engaging, accessible format. Designed for students of all backgrounds, these courses foster critical thinking, personal enrichment, and meaningful discussion while building new skills and perspectives on today’s global issues.
At SPS, academic excellence meets practical experience—enabling you to thrive in the real world. The CGA offers opportunities to gain hands-on experience and build a portfolio of work in the local community and around the world.
Consulting Practicums enable students to take the skills they have gained in the classroom and put them to use in real-world situations. Under faculty supervision, students work on exciting projects commissioned by leading private sector companies, government entities, and nonprofit organizations.
GFIs are two-week study away programs led by a full-time CGA faculty member. They offer students the opportunity to learn about critical global issues, engage in research and network with local experts in selected countries around the world, including the UAE, India, China, Rwanda, Greece, and Norway.
The Global Energy, Climate Justice, and Sustainability (ECJS) Fellows Program is designed to cultivate a community of next-generation leaders addressing the interconnected challenges of energy systems, climate change, and sustainability.
