GFI Students Gain Global Marketing and PR Insights
Summer 2025 Global Field Intensive Participants Visit Paris, Cannes, and Shanghai

<p><span class="p-body">For the summer 2025 semester, students in the Integrated Marketing & Communications (IM&C) program are participating in two Global Field Intensive (GFI) programs. Through the Paris/Cannes GFI, students have the opportunity to both study at NYU Paris and interact with many companies, advertisers, and marketing and communications experts at the Cannes Festival of Creativity will run for its third year. IM&C will also lead a new GFI in partnership with NYU Shanghai that will take students on an exploration of retail innovation with a focus on technology and AI and the role they will play on consumer shopping experiences in the future.</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">IM&C’s highly coveted Global Field Intensive in Paris and Cannes begins with a week in Paris, where students take part in class discussions, guest lectures and site visits to the offices of Paris’ top advertisers and brands, along with site-specific trips. </span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">IM&C’s new Global Field Intensive in Shanghai invites students on a journey through Shanghai's Retail Innovation. During this forward-thinking course in Shanghai, students dive into the world of intelligent retailing, exploring how AI and big data transform the shopping experience by bridging the online and offline commerce gap. </span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">Students engage with industry leaders, visit stores, and collaborate on innovative retail strategies that harness the power of digital transformation. By the end of the course, students have a deep understanding of how to drive innovation and meet the evolving demands of today’s consumers in a global retail market. </span></p>
