<p><span class="p-body">Her decision to join NYU SPS was influenced by both the school's reputation and its practical, career-oriented approach. &quot;NYU had always been a pipe dream of mine...I was looking for a school that was all about preparing professionals to transition smoothly into the workplace,&quot; says Emma. The MS in Public Relations and Corporate Communication program at NYU SPS stood out for its focus on real-world skills, taught by professors who are experts in their fields.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">Emma's time at NYU SPS has been transformative so far. Geared towards real-world readiness, she appreciates the balance between theory and practical application of the coursework. &quot;Graduate school is a bit like a build-your-own-adventure. It can be as immersive as you want it to be,&quot; she states. Through courses that simulate actual PR scenarios and offer direct engagement with current events, Emma has honed her ability to navigate complex communications challenges.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">One particular class that made a significant impact was Professor Ana Mollinedo Mims's Theory, History, and Practice of PR, which Emma praises for its rigorous approach and real-life applicability. &quot;She structured the class to feel like we were in a work setting...She had high expectations and we all worked to live up to them every class,&quot; Emma recalls.</span></p>

<p><span class="p-body">Emma's lifestyle and interests have profoundly shaped her personal and professional life. &quot;I find it difficult to keep still and am always finding new ways to explore my interests,&quot; Emma explains. A devoted runner and theater enthusiast, she uses these passions not only as hobbies but as ways to connect with and understand her surroundings. Running offers her mental clarity and happiness, while her love for Broadway shows fuels her passion for storytelling and the arts.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">Looking ahead, Emma is excited to merge her academic achievements with her passion for the arts.
