Yes, international students may transfer into NYU SPS Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies. You may need to submit proof of English Language Proficiency if you didn't complete your high school diploma or associate degree at an institution where English is the language of instruction. NYU SPS Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies offers three broadly-structured Bachelor's degrees (BS in Leadership and Management, BS in Information Systems and Technology and BA in Social Sciences with no rigid majors or other requirements, making it likely that transfer applicants will be able to continue smoothly in their chosen area of study. Our associate degree programs are similarly flexible: AAS in Business, AAS in Information Systems and Technology, AAS in Hospitality Management and AA in Liberal Arts.

Articulation agreements guarantee that classes completed at one college or university will be accepted at another. They are essentially a partnership between two institutions to recognize credits toward a degree. The Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies has articulation agreements with several community colleges, providing students with seamless credit transfer.

The NYU SPS Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies evaluates the transcripts of all students transferring into its programs, ensuring they receive credit for as many courses as possible. Applicants need to submit official transcripts documenting all coursework attempted at previously attended colleges or universities. Our academic advisers work with incoming transfer students every step of the way to make the process quick and stress-free to better concentrate on the next phase of their academic career.

The total cost to complete your degree at NYU SPS Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies depends on the degree program, how many credits you need to complete the program and whether you attend full or part-time. Our Bachelor’s degrees cost $19,400 per semester if you attend full-time (12 credits per semester) and $15,734 per semester if you enroll part-time (6-10 credits per semester). Our associate degrees cost $765 per credit. Financial aid officers work with students to identify sources of financial aid and to create plans that are specifically tailored to meet their needs.

Yes, unlike many schools, NYU SPS Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies offers several sources of financial assistance to transfer students.  You may qualify for the Achieve Scholarship recognizes high-achieving students who have completed an associate degree at a community college.  The Community College Transfer Opportunity Program also welcomes eligible transfer students from our partner community colleges with scholarships of up to $7500 per academic year.  Applicants must complete the FAFSA to be automatically considered for need-based aid. Learn more here.
