These interests and a strong desire to fix broken systems eventually led him down an unexpected but rewarding career path, which included earning his Master's degree at NYU SPS.</span></p>

<p>Nick's journey to NYU began with a clear mission: to understand and repair dysfunctional systems, particularly through the lens of artificial intelligence (AI). He explored various programs but ultimately decided on the MS in Human Capital Analytics and Technology&nbsp; at NYU. Unlike other programs that focused more on theoretical discussions, NYU's HCAT program promised a hands-on approach to real-world challenges. <p><span class="p-body">Today, Nick serves as the chief advisor on human resources and technology policy for Commissioner Sonderling at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). This role represents a significant shift from his earlier career as a teacher and education administrator. However, it's a shift that Nick credits largely to his time at NYU SPS. The connections he made and the specialized knowledge he gained through the HCAT program, particularly in HR and technology, laid the foundation for his current work with the federal government.</span></p>

<p><span class="p-body">Transitioning from education to a focus on AI within the federal government was an unexpected but rewarding journey for Nick. Despite the change in professional fields, he found that the core challenges remained the same—building a strong organizational culture and addressing the pressing issues of the day.
