ISCNE aims to simulate a real-world endeavor to negotiate the peaceful resolution of an authentic conflict or security dilemma. In the past, students in the Center for Global Affairs have facilitated negotiations over crises spanning from the Arctic, Syria, Nagorno-Karabakh, Jammu-Kashmir, and the Korean Peninsula. In the current year, the US Army War College presented a relevant crisis unfolding in the South China Sea.

Furthermore, it serves as an exceptional platform for networking with individuals affiliated with the US Army War College, as well as faculty and graduate students from the New York City area.
