Armed with an undergraduate degree and hands-on marketing experience, Brooklyn native Michael Wang embarked onto the next chapter of his career with NYU SPS—pursuing an MS in Integrated Marketing at NYU SPS.

The program’s approach to immersing graduate students in the field was a career-boost Wang eagerly took advantage of. Learning from instructors who are industry leaders opened Wang to a broader view of the opportunities awaiting him within the marketing industry. “My experience has been nothing short of amazing,” Wang says. “Coming into the program, I had one goal and one goal only: to refine my skillset in marketing. Along the way I’ve learned so much from my professors and classmates.”

Finding himself navigating a competitive job market, Wang sought a graduate marketing program that would help him achieve his goal and give him a competitive advantage in the job market leveraging the limited experience he already had. “What sets this program apart is its intentional design for early-career professionals,” he shares. “I was admittedly nervous about being one of the few with limited work experience but I quickly discovered I wasn’t alone. Many of my peers were also navigating their first steps into the industry, united by a shared passion for marketing and a drive to find their place in a competitive job market.”
