<p><span class="p-body">"When I was looking for a translation master's program, NYU was one of my first choices because of its global presence," she says. Recognizing that studying at NYU would provide her with invaluable opportunities to interact with people from different backgrounds and perspectives, she has honed her understanding of intercultural communication—an essential skill for a translator and interpreter.In her second year at NYU, Okar reflects on her journey so far as nothing short of amazing.</span></p>
