Meet Anny Wangyu

How often do you meet someone from the same hometown as pandas? Wangyu is from Chengdu, China, famous for its giant panda population. Her diverse interests, including classical music, scuba diving, and a newfound love for plants during the pandemic, have always been accompanied by a deep curiosity and drive for learning. These qualities led her to New York City, where she pursued her passion for marketing at NYU, a city and institution that had captivated her since her first visit in 2009.

The Spark That Started It All

Wangyu's interest in marketing was ignited during her freshman year of undergraduate studies when she interned as a sales assistant. During this time, she had her sights set on NYC, and the MS in Integrated Marketing program felt like the best way to place herself at the center of the industry. Anny describes her time at NYU as transformative, rewarding, and empowering.
