The Professor Edward Kleinert Scholarship Fund honors the legacy of Clinical Associate Professor Edward Kleinert, who played a key role in launching the MS in Project Management program at NYU SPS. Known for his dedication to students, passion for project management, and inspiring character, the scholarship supports incoming MS in Project Management students committed to using their skills to improve lives.

Scholarship Amount
$25,000 total per award
Eligibility
The scholarship recipient must be an incoming first semester student in the MS in Project Management degree program. They must demonstrate a passion for project management and a desire to utilize the skills and tools taught in the MS in Project Management program to improve the lives of others and in the community.
Upon degree completion, the Scholar must conduct a presentation on the impact of the scholarship on their academic career, as well as, their post-graduation aspirations.

Two letters of recommendation
Letters of Recommendation must be from professional or academic contacts (professors, supervisors, mentors, etc).
Statement of Purpose
In 500 words or less, please describe how you plan to utilize the skills and tools gained in the MS in Project Management degree program to improve the lives of others and within your community.

Finalists will be invited to interview virtually with the Scholarship Committee.
