The Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) helps military veterans to pay for school or job training. If you’ve served on active duty after September 10, 2001, you may qualify for the Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33). For a full list of benefits and criteria that qualify you for these benefits, please refer to the Post-9/11 GI Bill section of the Veterans Affairs website.
As a veteran, you will be eligible for a host of benefits while attending NYU, including the Yellow Ribbon Program, which provides supplemental funding to eligible undergraduate and graduate students at NYU who qualify for Post 9/11 GI Bill tuition benefits. Please refer to the NYU Veterans page.

While earning an NYU SPS degree, veterans can utilize the services of the award-winning NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development at NYU SPS. The Wasserman Center offers a range of services that can help you plan for your transition from the military to a civilian career by exploring the skills you gained in the Armed Forces and mapping them to the fields that lend themselves to these areas of specialty.
