<p>Charles Dorn's career in hospitality began in New York, with a notable educational chapter at the University of Houston's Hilton College. His career took off at Hilton Hotels, with a unique experience in Anchorage, Alaska, before he returned to New York to work in the private club sector. His career evolved further in 2006 when he started his consulting practice, focusing on operational consulting, strategic planning, and executive search within the private club industry.</p>
<p>Dorn's commitment to education has been a consistent thread throughout his career. He has been actively involved with the University of Houston, serving on the <a href="https://www.sps.nyu.edu/homepage/about-us/deans-advisory-board.html" title="Dean's Advisory Board">Dean's Advisory Board</a> and other committees. One memorable experience was dining at Emeril Lagasse's restaurant in New Orleans, where the entire meal was served by the kitchen staff. "The way we were treated and the quality of the food were outstanding," he recalls. Experiences like this one keep Dorn steadfast on his mission to take the hospitality industry to the next level.</p>
