<p><span class="p-body">The NYU SPS Division of Programs in Business (DPB) is delighted to announce that Beverly Tarulli, PhD has joined the Human Capital Management department as a clinical assistant professor and lead faculty for the Human Capital Analytics & Technology program, effective August 1st, 2020.</span></p>
The Making of a Human Capital Legacy
<p><span class="p-body">Students in Dr. Tarulli's classroom will benefit from her expertise as she brings her real-world experiences to the forefront of her lectures.</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">Most recently, she served as vice president of human capital strategy and workforce analytics for PepsiCo. In that role, she leveraged data to develop PepsiCo's human capital strategy and ensure the right approach to attracting, retaining, and developing talent to support business growth. </span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">She also led the workforce analytics function, which applies advanced analytics to drive human resources solutions that maximize business impact. Prior to PepsiCo, she developed business and led projects at Fortune 50 clients with Accenture and held multiple internal HR research and development roles at BellSouth (now AT&T).</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">As an industrial/organizational psychologist, Dr. Tarulli has relied upon an evidence-based approach to human capital throughout her career, which she now has the opportunity to impart to her students.</span></p>
The Mission Behind the Curtain
<p>There is more to Dr. Tarulli's success than meets the eye. She has a longstanding mission to make a positive impact on her industry, focusing her sights on the retention, engagement, and progression of women at work and the awareness-building and support of STEM practices in Human Capital Management. She also created PepsiCo's strategies for women and people of color and co-founded and co-led PepsiCo's STEM Council.</p>
<p>Externally, Dr. Tarulli has served as an advisory member of the Business Higher Education Forum and the American Council on Education Global Alliance for Innovation in Tertiary Education, further demonstrating her commitment to promoting equitable education in her field.<br>

<p>Dr. Tarulli earned her MA and PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The University of Akron and her BA from Franklin & Marshall College.</p>
