As the daughter of an educator, I learned the most effective teachers are also the most effective communicators. I communicate with students through my words, body language, visuals, and even the way I arrange classroom seating. A great communicator is also an active listener. As an educator, I play the equal role of communicator and listener. In the classroom, I work to facilitate an inclusive environment where students feel empowered to transform into effective communicators themselves and thus successful public relations practitioners and researchers.”

One of Schray's significant successes is the positive impact she has on her students' professional journeys. She takes pride in her students' achievements and strives to balance her time between teaching, family, and other professional commitments. Her challenge lies in managing these responsibilities while continuously improving her teaching methods and staying current with industry trends.
