The NYU SPS Center for Global Affairs prepares students to become effective global leaders and address the complex challenges facing our world.
At SPS, academic excellence meets practical experience—enabling you to thrive in the real world. The CGA offers opportunities to gain hands-on experience and build a portfolio of work in the local community and around the world.
Consulting Practicums enable students to take the skills they have gained in the classroom and put them to use in real-world situations. Under faculty supervision, students work on exciting projects commissioned by leading private sector companies, government entities, and nonprofit organizations.
GFIs are two-week study away programs led by a full-time CGA faculty member. They offer students the opportunity to learn about critical global issues, engage in research and network with local experts in selected countries around the world, including the UAE, India, China, Rwanda, Greece, and Norway.
