<p><span class="p-body">NYU SPS Tisch Institute student Smit Bajaj and NYU Stern's Vishakh Sandwar were crowned winners of the NFL's 2025 Big Data Bowl, where the NYU duo declared victory over more than 400 other participants. <br /> <br /> Each year, the NFL Big Data Bowl calls on professional and aspiring amateur data scientists to create new and innovative approaches to a specific challenge. Participants are then asked to submit statistical, data-driven solutions using real-time data that expands across a wide selection of players, plays and situations.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">&quot;It is always rewarding to see months of work culminate in a moment like this. Vishakh and I truly enjoyed the process of building, which I believe is important.
