Tisch Center Celebrates Black Leadership in Hospitality
Tisch Center Joins Inaugural Event to Celebrate Black Leaders in the Hospitality Industry

<p><span class="p-body">To celebrate Black History Month, the NYU SPS <a href="/content/sps-nyu/about/academic-divisions-and-departments/jonathan-m-tisch-center-of-hospitality.html" target="_blank">Tisch Center of Hospitality</a> hosted <i>Celebrate Black Leadership in Hospitality!</i> in collaboration with Dine with Dana to support the vision of Union Square Hospitality Group’s CEO Chip Wade.</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">This year's event was the inaugural gathering of what will become an annual tradition during Black History Month, bringing together hospitality students, industry professionals, and business leaders to highlight the many paths to success in the hospitality field.</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">The event was a success, with over 80 attendees from institutions such as the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, The Marriott-Sorenson Center for Hospitality Leadership, The Culinary Institute of America, and NYU SPS Tisch Center of Hospitality, as well as high school students supported by organizations such as NAF, Food Education Fund, AHEAD, DRIVE CHANGE, INC., Hot Bread Kitchen, and Emma's Torch. The event included panel speakers, discussions, group networking, and raffle prizes.</span></p>
