<p><span class="p-body">When the NYU SPS team of Sriram Acharya, Heena Kalra, Vaani Gupta, and Doyel Sinha wanted to seek to drive positive change in the healthcare industry through their Capstone Project, they picked up a pair of glasses—augmented reality (AR) glasses, that is.</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">This <a href="/content/sps-nyu/explore/degrees-and-programs/ms-in-project-management.html" target="_blank">MS in Project Management </a>student project team aims to establish Dosify as a pioneer in creating advanced solutions that harness artificial intelligence (AI), AR, and mixed reality to transform healthcare delivery. The goal is to drive innovation, accessibility, and inclusivity in the industry. </span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">The team’s proposal focused on four key areas:</span></p>

<li><span class="p-body">Augmented Reality for Enhanced Care (AREC) AR Glasses: Leveraging advanced AI capabilities, these glasses empower patients with personalized health assessments, aid family members in monitoring and caring for patients, and assist doctors in diagnosis and treatment decisions.</span></li>
<li><span class="p-body">Research Data Analytics and Insights (RDAI): RDAI focuses on harnessing data from AR glasses for emergency medical response to drive research and generate valuable insights. </span></li>
<li><span class="p-body">Mixed Reality Training Platforms for Healthcare Professionals (MRTP): Leveraging VR, AR, and mixed reality technologies, the Dosify platform will simulate real-world medical scenarios and procedures, providing a hands-on learning environment for healthcare professionals such as surgeons, nurses, and medical students. </span></li>
<li><span class="p-body">Market Expansion and Accessibility: The Dosify project team aims to enhance market share, grow its user base, and provide better healthcare solutions to a broader audience by targeting new geographic and demographic groups.</span></li>
